Meridian Preparatory Academy’s Governing Board is committed to transparency and accountability. All board meetings are conducted in accordance with the Arizona Open Meeting Law (A.R.S. §38-431). 

​

Meetings, Agendas & Public Notices

Meeting notices, meeting agendas, meeting minutes, and meeting recordings will be posted on the school’s website to ensure public access at least 24 hours prior to each meeting. All meeting notices will contain the time, date, location, and a detailed agenda of all items to be discussed. 

​

Notices will also be posted in the main office of Meridian Preparatory Academy located at 2727 W. Glendale Avenue, Phoenix, Arizona 85051, inside of the Administrative Office, which will be open Monday-Friday from 8:00am-4:30pm.

Meeting Locations

​

Governing Board meetings will be held at 6:00 PM (Arizona Time) via Zoom https://us06web.zoom.us/j/7805307687?pwd=ZndvS3ZsS1VqNzk4S0JlcWJmaTNKUT09, and will be streamed live on our Youtube Page http://www.youtube.com/@meridianprepacademy, unless otherwise noted on the posted meeting notice. All meetings are open to the public in accordance with Arizona Open Meeting Law.

MPA welcomes community  engagement from families, business owners, and community members.

Executive Sessions

​

By law, The Board may hold Executive Sessions when permitted under A.R.S. §38-431.03 to address topics such as employment, salaries, termination, dismissal, private records, scholar discipline, or to engage in discussions with legal counsel, etc.

​

Executive sessions are not open to the public, and notice of an Executive Session will be recorded on the monthly board agenda. Meeting Minutes from all Executive Sessions remain confidential.

Leadership

Governing Board

The Governing Body of Meridian Preparatory Academy is responsible for providing leadership, oversight, and accountability to ensure the school operates in alignment with its mission and in compliance with all applicable state and local regulations. The board works collaboratively to support academic excellence, financial stability, and ethical governance while prioritizing the best interests of students and the school community.

 

Through policy development, strategic planning, and ongoing evaluation, the Governing Body helps guide the long-term success and sustainability of Meridian Preparatory Academy. Board members are committed to transparency, responsible decision-making, and fostering a safe, inclusive, and high-quality learning environment for all students.
